How to close your ZIPZERO account
Thank you for using ZIPZERO. We are sad to see you go, but appreciate your contributions and aim to make your account deletion process as simple as possible.
If you still have access to your account via the ZIPZERO app, then you have the option to personally delete your account through the “Settings” Menu in-app.
Simply follow these steps to delete your account:
1. Open the ZIPZERO APP, and log in.
2. Tap on the hamburger icon (≡) on the top-right of the screen.
3. Tap “Settings”.
4. Tap “Delete Account”
5. Tap “Delete Account’’ again on the next screen to confirm deletion.
If you no longer have access to either your app or your account, then please submit a “Delete Account” request through this page.
In order to close your ZIPZERO account (link to Google Play / App Store) please follow these steps:
1. Complete and submit the form on this page (below), providing the email address you used to create your ZIPZERO account.
2. After we receive your request, we will contact you via email to confirm that the owner of the account has requested the account deletion.
3. After you have confirmed your request, we aim to delete your account within 5 working days.
After your account deletion request has been confirmed, we also start the process of deleting your personal data from our systems and removing you from all Marketing Communications. We will retain your personal data only for as long as is required by law, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Your personal data, purchasing data, and bill payment activity will be retained for as long as you use the app, and throughout the limitation period for potential claims (up to 6 years).
We will retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
We will keep anonymised data (that is no longer associated with you personally, i.e. the process of creating aggregated insights and segmentations about user preferences, opinions and shopping behaviour for research or statistical purposes) and use such anonymised data indefinitely without further notice to you.
