    We acknowledge that this is a significant shift from how the app has worked up until now but the restructuring was the only way we were able to keep the business running. It is a shame that you have not yet had the experience of benefiting from the ZIPZERO app.

    However, we are planning to launch a feature where you will be able to receive Premium Reward Units for in-store shopping (receipt scanning) in the first quarter of 2022. Receipt scanning will once again be a way to pay your bills without the need for Online Shopping!

    This is still only the beginning for ZIPZERO and we look forward to offering even better rewards so we ask that you bear with us whilst we finalise these changes, making the ZIPZERO app work for you and many of our loyal users.

    Seems quite a complicated process to cash in previous £ for those of us who stayed loyal to you over the last year

    While I am happy that ZipZero have found a way to continue, it's not great that you have to earn online points in order to cash in the receipts. As Petra stated, some of us have been uploading receipts over the past 12-18 months, now we'll probably end up losing the bulk of it because of this new system.

    Completely agree with the 2 comments above, my pending balance will take years to free up as l dont shop on line a great deal. I feel it was all a waste of time!

    According to ZipZero previous
    statements, terms and condtions etc, Zipzero received commission from retailers, following the scanning of receipts, which Zipzero passed back to to consumer. And now you've changed that. Therefore Zipzero has our money, already paid out by the reprocess but is refusing to pay it back to yhr consumer until 'new' terms and conditions are fulfilled. This is nothing more than a financial con , and sounds like fraud. I have a sum of money I collected in good faith, until Zipzero changed its business practises, and I now am e pected to have to spend thousands of pounds to get that money. Don't think so. Honour your previous terms and condition - Let's see what Financial Ombudsman think about this.

    I have almost £100 earned the 'old' way. I'd already tried to convert £35 but it never happened! Covid happened and rules got changed so I'm likely to lose that £100. All that wasted time and effort for nothing. Not impressed.

    18 months of recording receipts and nothing ,now you want us to use your online shopping to get access to money owed , this seems nothing more than a scam I have tried 2 or 3 times to use your shopping app and every time its cancelled?  Obviously to complicated, there are far better apps out there that actually pay people . Been loyal but All you do is change rules not to pay out . You may as well shut down ,as I won't be using your shopping app again .

    See you don't really reply on here that's tells you don't think much of your customers

    The earning rate at amazon is 1%, so if you've got £50 of rewards, you need to spend £5,000 at amazon to be able to redeem the historic rewards.  And wait 90 days each time for them to confirm.  

    Yes, not too long.

    If ZZ don't change the rules or suspend redemptions again.

    Every time I buy off amazon it gets rejected I've given. up ,way to complicated they should honor previous rewards imo

    Repeating the same message doesn't make the process for online shopping any simpler or any better.  Come on, ZipZero - don't treat your loyal users with such disdain.

    And is the new receipt scanning still on track for first quarter?

    It's not question to understand... Or give lengthy explanation for the process...
    I joined with certain rules and I submitted receipts following those rules... I expect the redemptions I made under those rules to be paid if you're honest and not a scam! I suspect now that ZZ used the pandemic to con members by taking time off from its dues and not pay up now.

    You're just a con you've had all our shopping data , now want us to spend on your shopping app to release funds. You need trading standards looking at you , all you do is move the goal posts so you Don't pay out , just pay up

    Existing funds and all newly acquired Base units will be valid for 36 months.

    Please bear in mind that we will be launching in-store shopping/receipt scanning which will also earn you Premium units for your bills.

    Some of our scanned receipts are already 20 months old. Is that 36 months from now or the original transaction?

    Amazon is the only one I use regularly. I have £110 in rewards. It is going to take me a lot longer than 36 months to reclaim my saved funds. An easy win would be for Zipzero to take off that 36 month limit to spend out funds

    On the app it says that Amazon is 0.5%. But you said in an earlier comment above that it is 1%. Which one is correct please

    CON 1 - I expect scanning of historic receipts to be honoured!!! Historic Redemption NOT voided!!!

    CON 2 - I don't expect receipts scanning or base points to be linked as:
    "as soon as you have £1 in Premium Reward Units available, another £1 in Base Reward Units also becomes available" IT WILL TAKE YEARS!!!

    CONCLUSION Too complicate and unfair. If I've all that money to spend and time time to waste I WOULD NOT be doing all this scanning! So much for Zipzero mission statement about helping us to pay the bills!!!
    Zipzero is a con & a scam.

    Also, before realising how bad Zipzero returns was, I found the online shopping experience not easy to follow and some purchases are rejected or do not track! how strange... Is this CON 3?

    Tried 4 times shopping on amazon all rejected absolutely wasted my time with zipzero ,won't shop with them again far better apps that actually pay , they don't want to pay but piss you off so they keep your money. I'd advise everyone to avoid zipzero , fraud & con

    Hello,

    The premium units you earn will free up those pending Base units over time.

    How long it will take before they're available will depend on the premium offer you choose at the start of your shopping trip. For instance, if you shop with Amazon, you will get an equivalent of 0.5% but if you, for example, make your purchase at Marks&Spencer it will be 1%. At booking.com you will get 2% and so on!

    We have hundreds of premium partners to choose from and more are coming soon! So we hope that you will earn and match their Premium and Available Rewards in no time – and get their bills paid on a regular basis!
