Let's assume that I have £6 of legacy credit that is now counted as 'base reward'.

I don't do much online shopping, but I see that Amazon is on list, and gives 1% reward.  Is this 1% base reward or 0.5% base and 0.5% premium?

If it's 1% base, then it does nothing towards freeing up any of my legacy credit, correct?

If it's 0.5% base and 0.5% premium, then it still appears to do do nothing for me to get towards my legacy credit because even if i spent £100 on Amazon in this scenario it increases my base by 50p and then puts 50p in my premium, that just frees up the first 50p from my base.

My in person spend will always be higher than my online spend, at which point I would never 'get ahead' of it, and there is no incentive for me to scan my in person receipts as it will never been 'freed up'

  Came here to ask the same question, it's really unclear on where you can earn the premium to unlock the historical accruals.

  I also wanted to confirm there are no longer any benefits for receipt scanning or do we still earn base there? It's very unclear
